PHOXYL, our guest act is an upcoming artiste and producer loaded with the talent required to redefine the Afro-Pop genre in Nigeria music and beyond.

Afolabi Habeeb Olalekan better known as PHOXYL is a 25 years old homey artiste, a singer, record producer and recording artist based here in Lagos.

Also called BADMAN BEATZ by admirers, PHOXYL has worked with prominent artists and producers such as Yaz, Krald , Hypa, Suave, Yorubadboi, Babanla Music, Gyangstarbeat, Tjones Klassik Beatz, Dj Xhibit, D’Tee among others.

The multi-talented artist and producer stormed Pegasus Reporters office in Lagos penultimate week armed with a broadcast; his first official single titled ‘Go Loco’ and a Christmas song to enclosed a very productive year for him.

The yet to be signed Teddy-bearded artiste and producer is out with another single titled ‘No Games’, arguably the best love song ever…

According to him, the Nigerian entertainment space is quite exciting for the discerning artist with an eye on real entertainment. what is needed is the impetus from sponsors and government to make it “a pull for the guys out there”

“Millions and millions of great guys and gals with love for the entertainment industry are out there doing f**king nothing. See why banditry and kidnapping is rife? he queried.

The Badman Beatz crooner urges the government to create enabling environments such as grants and loans as in other areas of the economy.
