The introduction and traditional engagement of Oluyemisi of the family of Iyiola Tunde of Edun-Abon in Ife North Local Government of Osun State and Adewale Alade of the Alade family of Isin local government of Kwara state took place the main Auditorium of Living-Spring Christian Chapel in Iju-Ishaga on Sunday, May 23, 2021.

Present at the occasion were the parents of the bride, Mr & Mrs Tunde Iyiola with an extended family member and the groom’s parents and members of their extended family who individually and collectively witness and blessed the new couple. During the occasion, the groom and the pride formally introduced themselves to their parents, families members, friends and well-wishers who graced the occasion.

Done strictly in accordance with the Yoruba/Christian tradition; singing, praise worship, exhortation from family members, exchange of gifts, prayers and dancing charged the atmosphere in felicity with the new couple. Among the highlights of the occasion were testimonies and praises by numerous family members, neighbour and friends of the couple who spoke glowingly of the bride as a young woman of good character and great upbringing.

To round off the occasion was exhortations and prayer by the Senior/Presiding Pastor of Living-Spring Christian Chapel, Pastor Aweda Omoniyi. The man of God exhorted the couple to begin to see themselves as one according to the rules of the Bible. He warned the couple to never allow a second party to come between them saying “that obedience to the husband by the wife and shower of love by the husband on the wife, at all times was the pillar upon which great homes are built.
