Hon. Ismail Danbaba, a member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Nasarawa Central State Constituency, has been kidnapped.
Reports say that he was kidnapped on Saturday evening while travelling to Jos, Plateau state for an official function.
Confirming the incident, the Chairman, Nasarawa Assembly Committee on Information, Hon Mohammed Omadefu, said the incident took place at the forest in the Sanga local government area of Kaduna state.

Hon. Omadefu, who represents Keana state constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), told the media that the kidnappers have made contact with the Assembly but were yet to make any demand.
