A video has emerged from a former aide to Atiku Abubakar about how during his time as Vice-President to Obasanjo, Special Purpose Vehicles aka SPVs were designed as conduits to loot the treasury of the nation to fund the People’s Democratic party campaigns and personal interests.
In the video, Atiku is heard explaining to his aide, the meaning of SPV which were relatively novel in managing corruption money and bribe money and how they were formed on his advice to the then president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and how they were used to disguise contract money paid to them as being paid to the companies.
