The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN has with effect from December 11th, 2023 scrapped processing fees of 2% and 3% respectively for deposits of N500,000 and N3000,000 for individual and corporate deposits.
A memo signed by the AG. Director of Banking Supervision, Dr Adetona S. Adedeji urged all banks to comply immediately until April 2024. the memo id is as below:
