Iwuanyanwu: No need for Ohanaeze – Simon Ekpa

Arch-renegade and sponsor of Biafra Government in Exile (BRGIE) Simon Ekpa, like a mad dog turning its rabid fangs and teeth on its owner, has carpeted the umbrella socio-political and cultural association of the Southeast, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, as useless now that it chairman Chief Iwuanyanwu is dead and that it should be disbanded.

In a post on his X handle, the Biafra agitator wrote, “Anything Ohanaeze should cease in Biafraland, following the death of Iwuanyanwu.

Ekpa who was reacting to the death of Ohanaeze President-General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu urge Biafrans to have have anything to do the socio-political and cultural group. It will be recall that Chief Iwuanyanwu who died a fews days ago had succeeded Prof George Obiozor, who passed away in December 2022.

Ekpa said that with the deaths of two successive Ohanaeze presidents, there was no need for a replacement saying the people were tired of mourning and crying over Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

“There should be nothing like Ohanaeze nor Ohanaeze election in Biafraland.”

“The time of Ohanaeze sorrow, tears in Biafraland is over,” he claimed.

Meanwhile, messages of condolences have been pouring in from far and wide over the passage of Chief Iwuanyanwu among whom is Nigeria’s President are, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, governors, the presidential candidate of Labour Party, in 2023, Peter Obi. Among similar group that have sent messages of condolence to the group is Afenifere of the Southwest.
