“In the Bible, one of the most misquoted comments credited to Jesus reads: “I am the truth, the way and the light; no one cometh unto the father but by me”. The issue here is the word FATHER. To get a proper answer, let us visit the very beginning of the Bible and in particular the Lord’s Prayer”

As a follow-up to Part One, these are references to the advent of the Holy Prophet Muhammad as recorded in the Bible.
01: MATTHEW 23 vs 36, Mark 13 vs: 23 and Acts 1 vs: 7: Here, the Disciple of Jesus (a.s) wanted Him to tell them about the day of resurrection. In answer, Pronto, Holy Prophet Jesus (a.s.) said; “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, neither the Angels who are in Heaven; nor the son nor the LEAST in Heavens”. The question here is: “Who then was the LEAST in Heavens – the YOUNGEST? The answer is: MUHAMMAD (S.A.W) the Seal of the Prophets.
02: REVELATION 19: Vs. 15 downwards.
It reads: “I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse, and he that sat upon him was called faithful and true and the army which were in heavens followed him in white linen….etc.”
Many Christians do not agree that this revelation refers to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), but let us scrutinize the quotation thoroughly to see who the cap fits.
* Are we to believe that this revelation is yet to be fulfilled? No, not at all; it was fulfilled in Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)
* Did Prophet Jesus (a.s) ever ride on a horse? The only beast of burden Prophet Jesus ever rode on while on earth was a DONKEY.
The white horse, and he that sat upon him is called faithful and true, and the army which were in heavens followed in white linen… etc, manifested in the battle of BADIR – the first holy war in which Hadrath Jubril a.s. accompanied by thousands of angels descended on the battlefield and wiped out the invaders. For information, Badir is 247 miles away from Makkah and three miles from Madina.
* CALLED FAITHFUL AND TRUE: This was the commonest name by which Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) was addressed as a result of His exemplary honesty. Therefore, as the Seal of all Prophets, He remains as the ‘’KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS’’.
03: NEXT IS ISAIAH 29: vs 12
It reads: “…and the BOOK is delivered to Him that is unlettered…” etc. Dear reader, note that the BOOK mentioned here is ‘’AL-QUR’AN; alternatively called ‘AL-KITTAB, AND AL’AL’FUR’QAN). Furthermore, you recall the encounter the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) had with Angel Gabriel (a.s.) at the Mountain of Light (Jabal-un-Nur); when the Prophet was commanded – “IQRAA” (read, recite or proclaim) and His response – “MA ANAA, BIQAARIHI” (“I am un-lettered, what am I to read”. This is exactly what Isaiah 29 vs: 12 says and nothing more.

Unfortunately, Bible thumbers are exceptionally good at turning base metals into gold and diamonds; yet truth will always triumph over falsehood. In my encounter with learned Christians, I have, and will continue to ask: “WHY DO CHRISTIANS CONVENIENTLY CLOSE THEIR EYES TO OBVIOUS TRUTH IN THE BIBLE? The answer is easy of solution – “WHO WILL LOVE TO LOOSE HIS SHEEP”.
VERY IMPORTANT QUOTATIONS IN THE HOLY BIBLE:
* John Chapter 5 vs 30: also chap 5 vs 19; and John 8 vs. 28. Here Prophet Jesus is quoted: “I CAN OF MYSELF DO NOTHING”. How then is He your ‘personal lord and savior?
* John 8 Vs 58;
Here, some scribes (learned men) approached Prophet Jesus and asked: “ARE YOU NOT JESUS, SON OF MARY WHO CLAIMED TO BE SON OF GOD?” In response, great, pius and Holy Prophet Jesus did not allow saliva to dry on their lips and said: “YE SAID THAT I AM…” If this does not amount to denial of such claims, one wonders what is!
* MATTHEW 15 Vs. 9. And Mark 7 Vs 7:
Here, Prophet Jesus (a.s.) unequivocally states: “IN VAIN THEY DO WORSHIP ME, TEACHING FOR DOCTRINE, THE COMMANDMENT OF MEN”. Takbeer. Who are the ‘they’ referred to here? The Chrisssssssssss-tians of course.
* NEXT IS MATTHEW 15 Vs 24 AND 10 Vs 5 – 6:
Here, Prophet Jesus (a.s.) clearly stated His mission on earth when he said: “I AM NOT SENT EXCEPT TO THE HOUSE OF THE LOST SHEEP OF ISRAEL” This clearly establishes the fact that He, Prophet Jesus was not a UNIVERSAL PROPHET like many of His pears.
** In the Bible, one of the most misquoted comments credited to Jesus reads: “I am the truth, the way and the light; no one cometh unto the father but by me”. The issue here is the word FATHER. To get a proper answer, let us visit the very beginning of the Bible and in particular the Lord’s Prayer. It begins: “OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVENS…..” Whose father? The Israelites. You see, God’s favours on them in the days of yore was unrivalled – He delivered them from slavery and the tyrannical rule of King Firaona in Egypt and also poured manna on them from the Heavens and many more. For these, they have come to see God as the Father of them all.
More importantly, Prophet Isah – Jesus (a.s.) being an Israelite couldn’t dissociate Himself from this bond. He also confirmed this in the following comment: “think ye not that I have come to condemn but to fulfil…” etc This is the context in which Prophet Jesus used the word Father.
In concluding this part, I also wish to help my Christian brothers and sisters with some of the many honours credited to Prophet Isah (Jesus) and His mother, by Allah (s.w.t.) in the Holy Qur’an; such that cannot be found on pages of the Bible; yet and yet again, such honours are not peculiar to Him. Please go and read Suratu Maryam (Chapter Mary) and learn for yourself.
