At Interdependent Community, we are aware of the huge challenges and the problems faced by Nigerians and how deeply rooted they are. We are also very aware of how much they have been traumatized. However, rather than being obsessed or engrossed with them or wanting to fight or eradicate them, we have collectively chosen to proffer our solution using our model.
PEGASUS REPORTERS, LAGOS | OCTOBER 23, 2021
Please before you proceed, bear these words of one of Nigeria’s greatest poet and novelist in mind
“A man who calls his kinsmen to a feast does not do so to redeem them from starving. They all have food in their own houses. When we gather in the moonlight at village ground, it is not because of the moon. Every man can see it in his own compound. We come together because it is good for kinsmen to do so. Therefore let us continue with the team spirit and enjoy the power of togetherness. Let’s smile not because we don’t have problems but because we are stronger than the problems” – Prof. Chinua Achebe
*Alone I can smile but together we can laugh*
*Alone I can enjoy but together we can celebrate*
*Alone I can talk but together we can speak*
Let’s promote things that unite us than things that cause disunity
*Unity is Great Strength*
Everyone is important according to their own unique purpose.
*Never look down on any body unless you are admiring their shoes*
End of quote
Nigerians, time to come together has come.
Good day to you all out there who Nigeria’s blood runs on him/her irrespective of gender, tribe, age, status, religion and location.
My name certainly does not ring bell in the entire Nigerian system or society. However, I am very desirous and determined through the help of Almighty God, the maker of heaven and earth and all in It, to ensure that the stories we’ve told for over sixty years as a nation and people is reduced and brought to barest minimum, so that our children and unborn generations will have good reasons to raise their heads high among their contemporaries globally, and also say in hundreds of year’s to come thank you, thank you our forefathers and mothers for bequeathing to us a beautiful home.
The Interdependent Community Project is designed as an online VIRTUAL country acting in the capacity of an NGO. It is aimed at using a global community through the use of mobile APP to grow the Nigerian person and humanity at large.
For almost sixty-one years, the Nigerian nation and its citizens have sung the same song told the same story blamed and counter blame each other, complaint, accusations, and counter-accusations as to who is responsible for the near failure of the Nigerian nation.
This blame game which has been passed on from generation to generation, parents to children has continued unabated without any real end in sight. The sad consequences of this needless situation are the many political and societal crisis that has threatened the very essence of the existence of the country called Nigeria. Worst of all, is the apathy, hatred, disbelief, disillusionment, anger, hopelessness, the frustration of the once hopeful citizens towards their once loved country.
The nation and its citizens have consistently blamed corruption, ethnicity, nepotism, bigotry, selfishness, greed, religious intolerance, and many more as the reason for the continuous retrogression being witnessed in all development indices of the country.
Granted that these challenges do exist, and have indeed grossly hindered the growth of the country and its citizens, the formulators of this project are of the strong opinion that these same challenges do also exist in other countries, but many among these countries have found ways to navigate these challenges while working at building a better society for their respective nations.
WHY THEN SHOULD NIGERIA BE AN EXCEPTION?
The developers have come to the conclusion and understanding that these nations who have become successful despite similar challenges faced by us were not obsessed with the desire to kill or eradicate these challenges but we’re busy, along with their citizens, working at providing growth formulas and programs that will over time naturally reduce these challenges to manageable levels.
The promoters of this project are of the opinion that wanting to fight or eradicate these challenges which have some worth became an ideology in the society will continue to retard the growth of the nation and its citizens for years to come because of highly vested selfish interest.
The developers, after many years of research, observation and following the Nigerian nation and its citizens on the way they act, think, see and do things, have decided to contribute its quota by launching this project towards the realization and emancipation of the Nigerian person regardless of religion, tribe, gender status and many more.
It became very imperative to them that if the nation must move forward that a new developmental system has to be championed.
We are not interested as to who caused what. We are not interested whether it was the colonial masters, we are not interested whether it was our founding fathers, we are not interested whether it was the military, we are not interested whether it’s the present or immediate government neither are we interest in whether it was our leaders of years behind nor are we interested whether it is the Northern, the Eastern, Western or Southern man that was responsible.
The fire that burns in our hearts, the desires that eats us up is to ensure that these stories that have indeed shaken the foundation of our nation, these stories that have made Nigerians be treated with disdain globally, the stories that have made Nigerians hate their once loved country, the stories that made Nigeria to be referred to as the poverty capital of the world, these stories that have given room for Nigerians to seek greener pastures in every country of the world regardless of the attendant humiliation and ill-treatment at other nations embassies, airports, these stories that made Nigeria have one of the highest out of school children in the world, but above all, these stories that have become generational crisis that has made millions of Nigerians both old and young loose hope, become apathetic and hostile to their ones loved country, these stories that is almost making it impossible for Nigeria and Nigerians to bequeath a great and wonderful country to its children and unborn generations despite Gods abundant natural blessings is reduced and brought to barest minimum, so that our children and unborn generations can stand up among the rest in the global index of reckoning.
For us at Interdependent Community it is a call to duty, a responsibility to ensure that our children and unborn generations looks back in year’s to come and have reasons to smile.
We’re are determined that with the aid of God Almighty and the collective will of the Nigerian people along with the global community that we shall indeed give hope and reasons to our children and unborn generations to live a life desired by them and to humanity at large.
We strongly desire to ensure that our children and unborn generations do not tell these stories we’ve told for far too long, but rather they will have reasons to look back in year’s to come and say thank you to our great grandfathers and mothers for giving us a worthy home to live.
This project is targeted at pooling Nigerians and none Nigerians together towards using our disposable income to grow our children and future generations. We’ve worked at creating a growth system called (CRGM) CONTINUOUS REVOLVING GROWTH MECHANISM.
We are not a pressure group. We are not confrontational at all in our approach to our dealings with the government and its agents. We are determined to apply all the laws of our land to the latter. We are not, and will never be in opposition to the government and its laws. We only desire to create a better tomorrow for ourselves, children, and unborn generations by applying our model of developmental mechanism.
We intend to create a symbiotic relationship with the government to enable us achieve our goals and objectives with relative easy.
Our first approach will be to reach out to all State governors, members of the National Assembly, the Presidency, Traditional rulers, past leaders of our country, members of the diplomatic corps, government agencies, well-meaning Nigerians, and every person(s) that will aid us at reaching our set out goals.
Nigerians, time to stop the story telling has come.
Its a big shame and disgrace to the over 200 million intelligent citizens of this great country, irrespective of position, gender and status, whether at home on in the diaspora that after sixty years, we cannot find solutions to our challenges despite our abundant human and natural resources.
Our strength lies in our population and diversity.
Yes, all man’s entire problems and challenges will be solved by God Almighty. However in the meantime we his creative agents will continue to proffer our little support to the growth of humanity until his time comes to solve all man’s problems.
Thanks.
