1 – EARTH…. WITH MOUNTAINS FIRMLY SET
“And the Earth, We spread it out, and cast therein firmly set mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds; to give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns to Allah.” -Quran, Qaf (Qaf) [50]:7-8
2 – EARTH… WITH RIVERS AND ALL FRUITS
“And it is He who spread the Earth and made in it firm mountains and rivers, and of all fruits, he has made in it two kinds; He makes the night cover the day; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.”-Quran, Ar-Ra’d (The Thunder) [13]:3
3 – EARTH…AS A RESTING PLACE
“It is Allah Who made for you the earth your resting place and the sky a canopy, and moulded you so gave you the best shape, and gave you pure things for sustenance; such is Allah, your Lord; so Most Auspicious is Allah, the Lord Of The Creation”.-Quran, Al-Mu’min (The Believer) [40]:64
4 – EARTH…. With SIGNS FOR THOSE OF ASSURED FAITH
“On the earth are Signs for those of assured Faith; as also in your own selves: will yet not then, see?” -Quran, Ad-Dhariyat (The Scatterers) [51]: 20-21
5 – ALLAH IS PERFECT
You will see the mountains and think they are firmly planted, but they will pass away like flying clouds: Artistry of God who perfected everything. He is indeed fully aware of what you do-Quran, An-Naml (The Naml) [27]:88
6 – SAYING OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW)
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The entire earth has been made a place of prayer, except for graveyards and washrooms.” Sunan al-Tirmidhī 317
OUR DUA
Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make a mistake…and pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us”- Quran, Al-Baqarah (The Cow) [2]:286
